Established in 2019, China-Gulf Forum (CGF) is the first forum in the GCC dedicated to fostering business, cultural, and academic exchanges between China and the Gulf region. CGF started as and remains a pure student-led initiative.
2019 (CGF 1.0): Founded the inaugural version in Abu Dhabi.
2021–2024: Increased exposure and impact with a Beijing debut at Peking University's Guanghua School of Management.
2025 (CGF 5.0): A milestone year with 500+ attendees, expanded institutional partnerships and networks, and received coverage from China Central Television (CCTV) with >300K views.
Evolution: From a university event to a global initiative, connecting policymakers, industry leaders, researchers around the world.
Within a global context, CGF 6.0 focuses on addressing the most critical and forward-looking areas of collaboration between China and the Gulf, tackling the most recent issues and opportunities.
Anchored in leading educational institutions, CGF 6.0 aims to promote meaningful exchanges and collaboration among the next generation of leaders, scholars, and practitioners from China and the Gulf, strengthening ties and shaping a shared future.
